HEALTHY DIET

FOOD PYRAMID


A healthy diet must contain these types of food in the correct proportions.

Let´s remember:

  • Carbohydrates: they give us energy and contain fibre which is good for our digestive system (bread, cereals, potatoes).
  • Vitamins and minerals: they keep us healthy and help us grow (fruits and vegetables).
  • Calcium: it is good for our bones and teeth (dairy products: milk, cheese, yogurt)
  • Proteins: they make our nuscles strong and help us grow (meat, fish, eggs)
  • Fats: they help our nervous system (healthy fats: olive oil, avocado).
